Jeri’s love for the Bay of Banderas began during a vacation in 1997. A portion of that vacation was supposed to be spent at another Mexican destination, but Jeri and her husband had no desire to leave Puerto Vallarta. Subsequently, they cancelled the second leg of the vacation to remain in Vallarta and enjoy its charms. They purchased a condo on the South Shore soon after and through the years varied the time they spent in Vallarta between full-time, limited-time, and for the past eight years have enjoyed the fall and winter months in the sun. The other months are spent in Montana.
From the early days when it was hard to find a good coffee shop at which to meet a friend and Rizo’s was located on the south side for grocery shopping, to today’s sleek condo projects with rooftop pools and Costco, Jeri has witnessed many changes around the bay that accompany progress. Fortunately, the Mexican charm, a simplicity of life, and gorgeous weather and beaches still exist among the modern conveniences. The best of both worlds!
