This August we have the immense pleasure of celebrating twice the anniversary of two of the greatest Latin American writers, our dear Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortázar, we cannot miss the opportunity to celebrate it as they would have liked better, in a library and reading. That is why Florezita Monster is a multidisciplinary artist based in Puerto Vallarta. Her work ranges from music, letters and object art. She and Rebeca Santiago, with a great radio career and friend of the library, will be our stellar readers. Together they will set the tone and the rhythm of the literary evening. Brief biographies of both authors will be read. Poems and stories by Borges and Cortázar were selected to read to the general public. From the promotion in networks, the public will be invited to share their favorite text by said authors. The reading will be led by a guest reader, but the idea is that it be a collective reading, involving all attendees. Join the literary party!

Este mes de agosto tenemos el inmenso placer de festejar por duplicado el aniversario de dos de los más grandes escritores latinoamericanos, a nuestros queridos Jorge Luis Borges y Julio Cortázar, no podemos dejar pasar la oportunidad de celebrarlo como ellos mejor les hubiese gustado, en una biblioteca y leyendo. Es por eso que Florezita Monster es artista multidisciplinaria radicada en Puerto Vallarta. Su obra va desde la música, las letras y el arte objeto. Ella y Rebeca Santiago, de gran carrera radiofónica y amiga de la biblioteca, serán nuestras lectores estelares. Juntas marcarán la pauta y el ritmo de la velada literaria. Se leerán unas breves biografías de ambos autores. Se seleccionaron poemas y cuentos de Borges y Cortázar para leerlos al público en general. Desde la promoción en redes se invitará al público a compartir su texto favorito de dichos autores. La lectura será dirigida por un lector invitado, pero la idea es que sea una lectura colectiva, haciendo partícipes a todos los asistentes. ¡Apúntate a la fiesta literaria!
