Buying property in Mexico as actually a very simple process, not altogether different from the United States. The only major difference is that your deed is held in a bank trust called a fideicomiso. The trust acts very similar to a living trust in the US.

Once you’ve made an offer and it’s accepted, you will fund the escrow account and we will help you, through a notary to set up the bank trust. The entire process takes anywhere from 45-60 days. The condo we visited at Zenith was a 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit at just over 900 square feet. The buildings has a rooftop terrace with a lounge area, an infinity pool, and a gym. The unit costs 275,000 USD.

HOA Dues in Puerto Vallarta: 4:35

Typically HOA dues are typically around 2 dollars per square meter.

Traditional Mexican condo in Puerto Vallarta: 5:36

This more traditional condo is listed at 139,000 USD, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and is around 600 square feet.
