Restaurants in Marina Vallarta & Hotel Zone
The Marina is in the heart of Puerto Vallarta Jalisco, it has one of the most spectacular views of the city, you can see the bay area which has docks for more than 350 boats, with 2.5 km of beach, an 18-hole golf course, and a few small shopping centers.
The Marina area is more exclusive and a bit more expensive than other areas in Puerto Vallarta, but is totally worth it, you can do it all, a romantic dinner, take a walk, eat at the best restaurants, enjoy the view with a glass of wine, and stay in the best hotels.

I have lived in Marina Vallarta for a few years, and it is a great place to live. It is close to the ocean, the beach, and lots of boats to look at. The community is safe and welcoming, and there are lots of positives that make living in Marina Vallarta a great decision.
If you are a food lover, here is a list for the best restaurant in the Marina area.
Sonora Grill Prime
The specialty of this place is beef but it has plenty other things on the menu, plus it’s a lot less stuffy than your usual steakhouse, this is a restaurant to enjoy with good friends who aren’t in any hurry to leave.
La Leche
This place is a complete experience is the coolest-looking restaurant around, plus it’s one of the best places to eat in Puerto Vallarta. The menu changes regularly depending on seasonality and the whims of the chef, so expect a few items done well from a chalkboard rather than an exhaustive printed menu where you’re not sure what’s good.
Lamara
If you love seafood this is the place for you, is a ceviche and aguachile place. Serves super-fresh seafood in a variety of ways that look and taste incredible, all-in big portions that are best passed around.
They also have a full bar, a craft beer list, and good desserts.
Icú Restaurant
This is an intimate restaurant, there’s an open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work and a bar where the mixologist’s skills are on display as well. They have an amazing grilled cauliflower, and huitlacoche soup that would all make a vegetarian happy, all the food is a mix of cultures.
